Pooled Apart

Unlike other semi-detached houses in the neighbourhood, 12 Greenbank Park has been dislocated from the common party wall and thus independent from its neighbour. Within this gap, lies a private lap pool, terminated at one end by a covered outdoor timber deck and a timber shoe cabinet at the other. This enables the living spaces on the first storey to be completely open on all three sides, increasing the connection between interior and exterior, landscape and hardscape. A stairwell connects the audiovisual room in the basement up through the first storey living and dining, to the second storey bedroom and third storey roof terrace. External grade roller blinds shade the west facing front façade, contrasting it with the solid form of the side of the building.
